There are some people in life that are memorable for many reasons, Richard Tyler is memorable for simply being a visionary towards helping     others (often detrimental to himself). He always sees the best in others and has the ability to be positive, despite all of his adversity.

Richard developed diabetes as a child which subsequently lead to kidney failure in adulthood. This resulted in a life saving kidney and                 pancreas transplant that gave him a second chance at life and he makes the most of every minute.

For the past twelve years he has promoted kidney health wherever he can and decided that more was needed to be done in that area within         the hospitals. The Bundaberg Renal Support Group was formed and he has helped the patients, carers and nurses within that hospital to             create one of the BEST renal units in Australia.

Also as a result of this, Richard is a strong advocate for organ donation and instigated the first Memorial Service in Bundaberg which
remembers those that have given the gift of life and their families.

This community challenge is Richards dream towards making our remarkable country a better place. By bringing communities together, and      enabling people to communicate with their neighbours. As individuals we can indeed make a difference by just a little bit of giving of                 ourselves and a small amount of time.

BIG THINGS START WITH SMALL DREAMS.

This challenge is amazing in it's simplicity, so lets get behind it as  Australians, Then lets go worldwide.

Think of what can be achieved! Lets start climbing that mountain with a small step.

It's quite a task to undertake, but a lot of fun all the same.

Thankyou to all who participate and support this program from one year to the next, as this venture helps those that will help
others in many ways, and it's all good.
